The 2019 KnowBe4 African Cybersecurity Research Report surveyed over 800 people from South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, Morocco, Mauritius and Botswana.

They were surveyed on cyber crime topics such as ransomware, phishing, malware and credential theft.

The research found that Africans are largely unprepared for cyber threats.
