Jim Shields
Director,‘The Inside Man’
KnowBe4
Jim Shields makes fun of Information Security. That’s why people take him so seriously when it comes to user awareness and behaviour. After 32 years running a successful film production company (Twist & Shout Communications, now a part of the KnowBe4 Family), he’s learned a thing or two about what makes people tick. More recently he’s applied the dynamics of entertainment to the problem of engaging employees, and teaching them to change their ways.
He has created security awareness campaigns for Barclays, Sony, Warner bros (3 seasons), Alcatel-Lucent, Intel, Vodafone, News International, Symantec, Verizon and Estee Lauder – among others. 9 years ago he created “Restricted Intelligence” – the world’s first 7 season sitcom about information security and more recently the award-winning “The Inside Man” series, now running for 6 seasons and used worldwide by some of the biggest brands on the planet.
His campaigns have won awards in both the security industry and the film & television world, and he practices improvised comedy whenever he can because he believes everyone should put themselves in harm’s way at least once a month?
Rich Leverton
Director of Content, Twist & Shout
KnowBe4
Richard Leverton is Director of Content for Twist & Shout, a KnowBe4 Company. With 18 years of experience as a filmmaker, he considers himself an editor first and foremost, but has (quite unexpectedly) found himself in the world of security awareness. Since Twist & Shout’s acquisition by KnowBe4, Richard has helped bring The Inside Man, Security Snapshots and Clickbait series to life, and continues to actively fly the flag for engaging storytelling as a tool of educating and changing behaviour.
